Sherlock Season 2

Did you see it? The second season of Sherlock on PBS? Well, did you? I saw it TWICE.

The first time I was in England where the BBC aired it during Christmas (it was all I wanted for Christmas!) and then I saw it again just last month when it aired on PBS.

Yet again, Benedict Cumberbatch outdoes himself as Sherlock. Martin Freeman as Watson is sublime. The supporting cast members - Lestrade, Mycroft, Molly, and Mrs. Hudson are all perfection. And Andrew Scott, who plays consulting criminal Moriarty is just too clever.

Needless to say, I'm dying to watch the next series but according to the gossip on the web, they won't even begin filming until 2013 so I've got a wait on my hands. Argh!

On a side note, Benedict Cumberbatch as Sherlock is frighteningly attractive. I think it's the cheekbones. That and his razor sharp wit. I'm well and truly Sherlocked.*

What did you think of it? Oh, and let's be careful of spoilers, yeah? No plot details please...

*Sherlocked - you'd know that reference if you'd seen the second series. Watch it or risk being a pleb forever.

No. *ducks* But I want to see it, since I love the Sherlock Holmes stories--though I suppose I'll have to watch Season 1 first. :P

Golden Eagle, definitely watch the first season! It's so good and the way they show how Watson and Sherlock become friends is so amusing.

Jai, I haven't seen anything other than the first two episodes of Sherlock. I loved them. So ticked I missed the PBS run of them. Will try to catch-up online.

I remember how you loved it when it first came out

I loved the series in the first season. Unfortunately, right now I'm in a place that doesn't show BBC Entertainment, so CDs are my best bet.

I love love love Sherlock too!! I totally agree with you about Benedict Cumberbatch being madly attractive. I'd kill for his cheekbones. I am yet to catch Season 2, though, but I am expecting the DVD as a birthday present in the next few days :)
