Now, to comment on this post:
I can totally identify with what you're saying here as I'm writing historical fiction. Research is key!
However, I get so bogged down with the research, it really takes away some of the joy my characters give me.
Writing historical fiction is so bloody difficult!

I'm amiss too, for the past week. No time to visit blog friends with so much to do outside and in. It's good to see your face! My sound quit working on this computer so listening is out for now :(

Sue, looks like lots of people are having technical problems. All this technology! When it works it's great and when it doesn't we have near collapses.

Elizabeth, I'm so sorry to hear that. I don't know what it could be, I just checked all my settings and it looks like everything's fine. Blogger's probably doing stupid things that messing things up. They do that a lot these days.

Historical fiction requires loads of research to get the facts right. You must have done extensive research, Jai.

Another fantastic episode Jai! It's so interesting to learn how other writers write.

Jai Joshi said...

Rachna, yes, there was a lot of research work. But I loved every moment of it.

Laughingwolf, you could lip read, I guess. Wait, that raises the question: Does lip reading work when someone has a different accent?

Deanna, yes, we all have our own little foibles and ways of doing things. I'm always interested in hearing how others do things.
