This is part of my ongoing series on the Mahabharat, an epic poem of ancient India. For links to all previous Mahabharat posts go here. Or you can simply click on the Mahabharat page link above.
I've nothing too taxing for you today since we're so near Christmas and everyone's scrambling like mad to get ready for the holiday.
Instead, I just recently saw this wicked trailer on youtube for a 3D animated series called Little Krishna, showing all Krishna's childhood adventures. It looks like it's been done really well too. I'm excited to see it!
The trailer's less than a minute long. Check it out:
And if you have more time then you can check this out too. It's ten minutes long. Can't wait to see the actual series!

Go here for next week's post entitled Tell Me.

Little Krishna does look like a good movie!
Whoa, who would ever have thought of that? I love it!
Golden Eagle, I'm going to see if it's available to watch in the states. I know that it was shown as a series on Nick in India.

Sue, I was thrilled when I heard about it.
Jai
Those look so fun! 3D too, that'll be awesome!
Lydia, I know! Can't wait to see more.
Jai
Cute trailers. Sounds like Little Krishna would be fun to watch.

Krishna! :) Jai - It's available as a 3-part DVD, in Hindi or English, available from http://bit.ly/LittleKrishnaDVDs
The 3-parts are:
1. Little Krishna : The Darling of Vrindavan
2. Little Krishna : The Wondrous Feats
3. Little Krishna : The Legendary Warrior
Jai Shri Krishna!
The videos are adorable!
Mason, they are cute, aren't they? I thought they were adorable.

Dipa, fabulous! Thanks for the info. I'm gonna get on it as soon as possible.

It was lovely, Jai. Little Krishna is my favourite.
The artwork is gorgeous and the animation well down. It looks like a delightful series - and fun too.
Thanks for the pointer to it, Jai.
Rachna, I heard a little about the series ages ago but I only saw the trailer just recently. I've been so excited ever since. Been scouring youtube for every clip I can find!
Jai
Kevin, it does look really well done! I'm excited to see this much work going into something like this.

These are beautiful animations, Jai. I'm so impressed with the quality and the attention given to make everything look so perfect. It's delightful, really. Thank you so much for sharing it. You do an awesome job of bridging cultural appreciation.
Nevine
I want to watch it. I hope they show it here. It is beautiful.
I hope your days are beautiful, Jai.
LOVE!
Nevine, thanks! I'm glad you think so because bridging cultural understanding has always been an important goal of mine.
Jai
tywo, thanks! I did have a beautiful today which is probably due to your positive vibes!
Jai
SO cute! Thanks for sharing! :) I've really enjoyed your series.
Looks good for a TV series - usually they skimp on the animation quality big time for TV.
Talli, it's adorable!
I'm really happy to know that you enjoy this series. It's a labour of love for me so it's a thrill when others feel the same interest and enjoyment.
Jai
Diane, I thought so too. I've seen other animated efforts of the Mahabharat and most of the time it's low budget low effort stuff. This looks like they really put some passion into it.
Jai
Loved both clips. I remember once reading one of your Mahabharat posts and thinking after if someone somewhere had ever thought of doing an animation focusing on the whole epic poem. That would be a treat.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Greetings from London.
Cuban, there have been several attempts but they were mostly low budget and low effort. I wasn't thrilled about them. This one I'm ordering the DVDs for and am excited about.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Very cool, and probably educational for many, too. The animation looks top notch. I'll look for this!
Nicole, yes, I love when they make fun cartoons that can also teach. That's what I call multi-tasking!
Jai
That looks too cool! Maybe they will bring it to the states :)
Chrystal, it would rock if they brought this to the states!
